Attempts are afoot,
though in wraps for the present, by a battery of lawyers owing
allegiance to the
US President Donald Trump to garner data against
Robert Mueller’s alleged conflict of interest, in an obvious
attempt to stymie the ongoing investigation into the “Russian
thing”. The Attorney General can jettison a special counsel from
office under justice department provisions on the grounds of conflict
of interest.

| Trump's ugly attempt at corralling mueller |
The Trump team is
intensely agitated over the possible digging into the yesteryears
business deals of the businessman turned President, which have
nothing to do with the present. The Trump deal-making is most likely
to be ripped open by the Mueller’s investigation. Rubbing salt to
injury would be the legal questions that the President and his family
would have to answer – questions most of which lie out of the
purview of the terms of Mueller investigation. As if his cup of woes
is not full, spokesperson of outside lawyers of Trump has put in his
papers.
The battle between
Trump team of lawyers and Mueller’s would turn out to be more
acrimonious. Stay tuned in for further updates on the issue.
